Dedicated to Namagembe Regina

‘We are glad to dedicate this project on behalf of our village Head Namagembe Regina. Clean water is very important, most for us women, who have to take care of collecting clean water and take care of our families. Previously we women send our children to help with water collection, and they do not manage to get to their classroom studies on time. Now, with clean water accessible to our home, I can send my children to school on time and collect the water for all my family’s needs’.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
