“The installation was good and people in the village were very happy to have a pump in their village for the first time. To see the places they got water at first was very pathetic. Many thanks to Wells for Zoë for the help given to them.
Since the place is in the remote area, the people are facing many challenges like there are no health facilities in the area. The pupils also find more problems to get education because secondary schools are very far from the village.”
This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
