“The whole community had only one pump and still more many people were drawing water from open wells so they decided to dig another well. This is because drinking unsafe water from open wells were causing many people to be suffering from many waterborne diseases like diarrhoea. This moment we now have installed pump and we are happy drinking clean and safe water. Next still we get tree seeds. Wishing donors long life.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
