“People were very happy to see us installing the pump in this village for the first time. Previously, villagers had been drawing water from rivers that were unsafe for human consumption. The village chief thanked the team for providing them with clean and safe water at no cost. The people in this area depend on farming for their livelihood. Though they are poor, they are also hard workers.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
