“The installation went well though we had to remind them to fill in the stones in drain and soak way – a message that is sometimes difficult to impact. Besides water problems in the village, there are also some challenges like poverty. They depend on farming for their daily living but they have little produce because they grow their plants without applying fertiliser. We told them about Tephrosia and our Horticulture team will explain more on a future visit.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
