Nelson Mandela International Day 2017

This day stands for changing the world for the better, taking action and giving devotion to humanity in respect to this mans legacy. Today marks the birthday of Nelson Mandela who would have been 99 years of age had he not deceased in 2013.

He was a freedom fighter who stood up for what he believed in; challenging governments and trying to encourage peace. People worldwide are asked by the Nelson Mandela Foundation to spend 67 minutes of their time on a ‘small gesture of solidarity with humanity and a step towards a global movement for good’. Here at Drop4Drop, we believe in working together and spreading awareness of what we do, so we can work towards providing clean, safe drinking water to all communities currently living without!

This years theme is ACTION AGAINST POVERTY so ensure you hashtag and donate your help of 67 minutes to someone in poverty.
