“William Ngwenya village was one of the villages in Edingeni which had all the reasons to smile because of a gift of a pump in the village. They have been admiring from other neighbouring villages which already have pumps but now they are happy that they have their own pump. The people are poor but they are hard workers. They like to work with any organisation in the area. Anything that will help development. They are very thankful to drop4drop for helping poor Malawians in many areas of Malawi.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
