“We used to walk to the ponds and bring water on our heads and it was great physical constraint to us and with less water we had to attend to all the needs and thus it was not healthier and we used to take bath only once in 3 days. The skin problems were suffered by us and most of the time was wasted in fetching the water. But now we are very happy
as the water is availed at our nearby street and also we are able to get as much as water required for the family. This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
