‘Our gratitude to the donors Salford University & Chartwells, who helped for this well through drop4drop. Previously I have suffered very much due to meagre water supply through the Water Tap. I am working as housemaid in several houses, so I go to work early in the morning and return home in the late evening. When I return from my work, the supply of tap water was stopped then. Now there is no such problem. I am able to get water easily by the hand pump bore-well all time. Now my son is going to school in right time and studying very well. We are following hygiene methods with the awareness given by the health worker. Once again thanks to the donors”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
