‘I am Ms. B.Jeneli D/o Balamurugan of Ramakrishnapuram ST Village Happy and Humbled to thank and greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and kindly donated by THE BELLS – AMELIA, OSCAR, EVIE AND FREDDIE for Sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Ramakrishnapuram ST Village. It is our great joy to see new water project in our village and it is very happy to see clean water from the borewell. Our difficulties have come to an end. We are able to get the required water and also, we given the tips to use the water in a safe manner. The water which we used to bring the open wells and ponds used to very dirty and contaminated. Since we had no other way, we used to make use of the same and this had caused health problems. Now we are very happy and also our situation has totally changed. No long-distance walking and the children are able to get ready in time to go to their schools. We are happy to see our children take bath daily and remain healthy. We thank to THE BELLS – AMELIA, OSCAR, EVIE AND FREDDIE, DROP4DROP, U.K., NEWS NGO, UTHUKOTTAI.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
