‘I am R.Sathya W/o Ramesh of Pudukuppam BC Village Immensely pleased to thank NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and KINDLY DONATED BY BEST WISHES FOR HEALTH AND HAPPINESS FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT CORE FORCE, for a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters overhead Tank to our Pudukuppam BC Village. The common water tap is available in our village but the duration of water supply is only for few hours. We used to wait for long time to get the water from the taps and only few pots we get and not able to use for all the required needs. So we had thinking that this was our fate and that we were born to suffer. But now we are having a wonderful opportunity we are able to see in our village the water is being availed in full pledged manner. We are seeing our children happily take bath everyday and go to the school in a fresh manner. The skin allergies which the children are undergoing now shall get decreased in few months and thus our children are blessed and we thank you NEWS NGO for making visit to our village and also recommending our village to DROP4DROP U.K. our sincere thanks to CORE FORCE we shall make use of the water source and also follow safer drinking methods.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
