“We really feel that we are privileged to avail such a great opportunity in our lives to get the water required for our family and our villagers. We felt as a dream when the machineries and vehicle came to make the drilling of bore well. We were in astonishment that how such a facility has been availed by our villagers. Indeed we thank NEWS NGO for selecting our village and making us to realise a new water project in our village. We are using the water for all our domestic purposes and the women and children are able bath everyday and maintain self hygiene. Especially during the spread of COVID-19 the children are able to bath and wash hands and remain healthy. The grateful thank to kindly donated by LEVY, U.K., Through Purchases of Life

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
