‘I am M. Kannamma (37 Years) W/o Anand of Nellimarathu Kandigai ST Village privileged to thank and greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and Proudly Donated by the JUSHI FAMILY a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Nellimarathu Kandigai ST Village. We thank you very much for the most important project you have implemented in our village. We are not able to believe our own naked eyes. It had become a great surprise to see that new water project in our village has been installed and that without much strain we are able to get the water as much needed. So it is a great boon for us and we are happy. Our children are able to take
bath in time and also go to their shcools in time. So it is a great joy and surprise. The children are relieved from the burden of bringing water to our homes and also they are getting to study, play and also to remain healthy. The skin diseases shall also get reduced in a phase of manner which has been realised to unsafe water we were using.We are Greatful to JUSHI FAMILY, DROP4DROP, U.K.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
