“The installation was good and many villagers came to witness the installation process. The village has been using water from unprotected open wells. During rainy season running water carries more wastes which affect people’s life and people had no option but still use the same water. They are very happy now because they have safe water. No forest in the village and they ask for tree seeds if planting season starts. They are also good farmers they grow Maize and Ground nuts.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
