“Women and children used to spend massive amounts of time collecting water for drinking, cooking and washing from a dirty water source. They often had to walk miles with their empty jerry cans and buckets and return with them full. This was a daily burden meant losing out on educational and work opportunities which affected the economic well-being. But it was drop4drop that turned things around with a solution. Lives of hundreds are being transformed with this clean water source”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
