‘I am Mrs. Sandhya D/o Neelakandan of Malanthur SC Village Immensely pleased to thankEVERY WELL WATER FOUNDATION, DROP4DROP, U.K. and NEWS NGO UTHUKOTTAI,for Donated a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Malanthur SC Village. We thank you very much for the new water project which is being provided to us and we are very happy and are able to get the needed water nearer to our homes. It was a great struggle to drink the salty water which we used to get and now we are able to get good water and it is very healthy. We are able to see the difference and our children who used to have rashes and skin disorder shall in a short period get healed. Now we get the needed water and we are able to attend all the needs. Our children are very happy and are able to take bath and also, they are able to wash hands and body and are finding sound health. We thank NEWS NGO for recommending our village and we thank you once again EVERY WELL WATER FOUNDATION and DROP4DROP, U.K. for sponsored our Malanthur SC Village.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
