“I am Kamalochani W/o Dhamodharan of Kavaraipettai SC Village privileged to thank and greet DROP4DROP, U.K. and Kindly Donated by GLENALMOND COLLEGE THROUGH PURCHASES OF LIFE WATER, a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Kavaraipettai SC Village. We thank you very much for the most important project you have implemented in our village. We are unable to believe our own naked eyes, it had become a great surprise to see that new water project in our village had been installed and that without much strain we are able to get the water as much needed. So, it is a great boom for us and we are happy. Our children are able to take bath in time and also go to their schools in time. So, it is a great joy and surprise our children are relieved from the burden of bringing water to our homes and also, they are getting time to study, play and also to remain healthy. The skin diseases also get reduced in a swift phase which has been realised that it is due to unsafe water we were using. We are grateful thank to GLENALMOND COLLEGE THROUGH PURCHASES OF LIFE WATER, DRINK WELL BE HAPPY”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
