“Before installing this bore well in our village, I had to devote most of my time for bringing water from distance place of agriculture bore-well. My husband and father-in-law are most of time on their business. So the responsibility of water is on me. I faced hardship to go long way for fetching water. Now I do not feel any trouble after this bore-well is established recently in our community. The health education programme is also very much useful for us to keep our health in good condition. Many thanks to the donors of this well, Southmead Hospital, for changing our lives.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
