“We were warmly welcomed in the village and people cheered upon our arrival because they knew that one of the challenges in the village has come to an end. They have never thought that one day they will have good water. They thank drop4drop and Benugo for the pump. Most of the people in this community are poor. Others eat only once a day because they struggle to find food. They grow more crops in the village but due to lack of money they fail to apply fertiliser in their crops making them to have less harvest. We have also spoken to them about planting specific crops to help with this problem. The water pump will go a long way to helping with their problems.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
