“The pump installation was successfully completed and witnessed by many villagers, whose joy was evident as they celebrated with traditional songs and dances in gratitude the team for bringing clean water to their community. With this pump, the villagers can now look forward to improved health and hygiene, having previously suffered from cholera outbreaks. Challenges remain, particularly in accessing education, as many children lack the essential learning materials needed to attend school.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
