“Now I am saved not only of my valuable time but also from the toil of getting water from a river going by walk 3km away. The water from the bore-well is very useful to our community, improving our health and prosperity. Now we are able to attend our work punctually in the morning, and our children can go to their lessons on time. Our community is now very happy. We can now rely on water that is close to our home and is better for our health. We look forward to long and bountiful life thanks to Foodbuy”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
