Prior to the introduction of this water source the locals would collect water from a dambo, a term for a wetland, an unprotected and unclean water source. This project has given a new lease of life to the community; not only has the health of the community dramatically improved, women and children also no longer have to walk long distances to collect their water. Children are able to attend school and women are able to work ensuring a brighter future for the whole community. Thanks Patriot National Insurance Group!
