I am Mrs. Bilkish Begam, W/o. Ohly Sekh of School Para, Pathar Pratima, South 24 Parganas. We were facing problem of drinking water since the long time. There was no bore-well in this village. We were used to fresh water from that bore well to get a pot of water due to long distance we, the female members of every family of the village our very happy in our every life.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
