‘I am Mrs.K.Rohini W/o Prakash of Sathyavedu ST Village privileged to thank and greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and CORE FORCE for sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Sathyavedu ST village. We convey our sincere thanks for your generous support for this new water project in our village as we have been dreaming . We had been requesting our village heads but they were helpless as the funds in the government administration was less and not able to accommodate these kinds of amenities. We had become mentally depressed and thought that this shall be our regular fate. But now our fate has been broken and the new water facility has given great joy and hope and we are happy that in a short period of time our children shall find sound health. The educational improvement shall also be realised because the sound health they will find. We thank NEWS NGO for recommending our village and we thank you once again CORE FORCE and DROP4DROP, U.K. for sponsored our Sathyavedu ST village.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
