“Many thanks to the donor of this hand and pump bore-well, for solving our water scarcity problem.
Before installation of this bore-well, our community people used to get water from other village by walking 3KM away from the risky going across the national high way road for getting water. We are happy to say that now we saved from this problem. We are now saved at least 4 hours daily time. With this saved time, we are participating in income generating jobs. Our children also saved their time and now they are using their saved time on their studies. The hygiene education is very helpful to us in maintaining our health good.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
