‘I am P. Pavithra W/o Prabhakar of Thideer Nagar SC Village Happy and Humbled to thank and greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and MAD TASTY for Sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Liters Overhead Tank to our Thideer Nagar SC Village. The water availability in our village was from a common source and the duration and quantity of availability was very less. Moreover, the water availed was also not safe and reliable, so skin rashes were found and the children often used to fall sick. The new water project has developed new hopes and our children shall be in a position to get the sound health. We are learning to make the water in a safe manner. We are getting lots of time for attending to our self-development and able to go for daily agriculture work and gain some money it is our great encouragement in seeing the water is being availed nearer to our doorsteps
and also, we are able to get it 24/7. We thank NEWS NGO for selecting our village and also thank to our donors MAD TASTY, DROP4DROP, U.K.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
