“We used to collect water from the dug-well outside our house for drinking, although we knew it was unsafe for health. There was no alternative. Water collection was especially difficult during the monsoons months. Also, there was chances of diseases like diarrhoea. This community tube-well will be very helpful for all of us. Now we do not have to think about contamination. Collecting water will be much easier. We are truly thankful to drop4drop and their donors Soho House for supporting our community and thinking about our needs. Many thanks on behalf of Ex-Pradhan Para for this tube-well and giving us safe drinking water.”
