“All we needed was clean water narrates Namukwaya Annet, “ This water source has reduced the burden of walking long distances fetching dirty water that we used to share with animals. We are so grateful that we can now have clean water at all times . We nolonger have to worry  about our children and us getting sick from water related diseases like before. We applaud Life Water and  Royal Armouries for thinking about us and responding to the big  challenge  we used to face by constructing for us this clean water in our community. Indeed water is life.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
