“Since before this well we were walking many dangerous routes to collect our water. It was always dirty and we knew it was bad to drink. We share the little water we had with animals and often we ran out of enough water for animals, crops and our families. Now, thanks to this project, we have enough water to go round and will live much happier lives.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
