“Villagers were very happy and appreciate what drop4drop has done in the village. The installation went well. In the past people spent more time nursing patients because diseases were all over because of the dirty water they were using. People depend on farming and business which give them money for their daily living. Since people in the area grow more flue cured tobacco, more trees are gone. They are requesting for tree seeds so that they can grow during the tree planting season.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
