“My family used to suffer a lot without the water facility and now it gives great joy to avail the water source. We are able to use the water for all our needs such as cooking, washing clothes, bathing and attending domestic works. Earlier, we used to carry the clothes to lakes and wash them and wait till it gets dried up and then return home. But now we are able to get the water in an adequate manner and we are leading a happy life, we take this opportunity to thank you and NEWS NGO for choosing our village and we are really privileged”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
