This village lacks many basic human needs. The people here heard of similar drop4drop projects in their area; supplying communities with their own pumps, free seeds and preschool workshops and they felt they would greatly benefit from a new well.The lack of access to clean drinking water is a prominent issue facing the people of Malawi. With a dense population of close to 20 million people, half are reported to live below the poverty line with a quartering experiencing extreme poverty.
