“My name is Akech Bol, and I am 21 years old. I have two children, and I make a living through farming. I was affected when the well I relied on for clean and safe drinking water at the Guest House borehole broke. During that time, we suffered from typhoid because we had to drink dirty water from pools, which were not suitable for human consumption. Thankfully, the Team from Panachier has repaired the borehole, and we now have access to clean and safe drinking water again.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
