“When the Drop4Drop team came to tell us about the proposed new water source project we didn’t believe it would happen – until we saw the construction team and their equipment in our village. Now we have water a few meters from our houses! Our community members won’t suffer from typhoid, diarrhoea and other water related diseases and our children are now able to spend more time concentrating on their studies instead of fetching water.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
