‘Sir, we are thankful to ESS & Defence for showing generosity on our community and for helping us with drinking water hand pump bore-well. Prior to this well our village people were faced water scarcity problem, but now our problem is solved. We are now getting the clean water easily. Now I am able to go my job regularly and earning income for our family livelihood. My children also now going to schools in right time. The health education conducting by the Health worker is very much useful for us to know about the good healthy habits. Many thanks to ESS & Defence and drop4drop.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
