“I am filled with exultation! There are people who have been vending water in our community but I don’t have money to pay for the water, So I have been fetching the water myself which is so tiresome and time wasting since I have to work at the farm too and the water source was located a distance away. Now we have a water source in our community. This well is a pure bliss. We now get free clean and safe water in our community. This well has filled me with exultation.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
