‘Thanks to the donor for supporting this miracle. We as a village rely on farming and our crops for food and income. During dry seasons getting water is hard, and it is often dirty and unclean. With this new clean water, we can focus on our produce and improving our income. My children help me with water collection, so we are saved from walking long distances to get our daily needs.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
