“My name is Lakshmi Bagdi and my husband is Swapan Bagdi.  We live in Khodaibag Village in West Bengal.  We face tremendous problems getting drinking water.  In the summer all the ponds here become dry.  We, the women don’t consume much water because we have to go and collect it.  But this year we have got bore well in our area and plenty of water.  Now we will all get drinking water. Last year, I begged a pot of water from my neighbour but they also did not have much water.  This year we all have water.  It is blessings of God on our village.
