“I am Mrs.Divya of Keemallur SC Village. I am happy and humbled to greet NEWS NGO, DROP4DROP, U.K. and also thank them as well as the donors of this project, BRIGHTON COLLEGE THROUGH PURCHASES OF LIFE WATER, for Sponsoring a deep Borewell fitted with an Electrical Motor and a 2000 Litres Overhead Tank to our Keemallur SC Village. It is our great joy to express our sincere gratitude for the new water project provided to our village. We were in great struggle to get the water required for our day to day use and were cursing our Gods and Goddesses for leaving us in a poor situation. Now is a great opportunity for us to accept such a great project at our habitation. We’re very happy and it will enable us to make use of the water when we require it. This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
