Kindly Donated During the DROP4DROP X ED SHEERAN Campaign
“The installation went well and women sung songs and danced to show their appreciation for the pump given to them. They have been walking long distances to get water from a river which is not same to humans. They have been requesting for a pump in the village for long time but no one helped so they were thankful to drop4drop and WfZ for the assistance. Schools are very far from the village and most children don’t go to school. Poverty is at it’s highest in the village. Most children wear torn clothes and parents fail to pay school fees for their children when selected to go to secondary or tertiary education.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
