“I am from Kannavaram village and it gives immense happiness to share about the new water facility which the NEWS NGO has provided with the support of Drop4drop, UK and kindly donated by Customers, Friends & Employees of VYRIAN incorporated. We were much worried about our children and family members as we could not lead a life in an hygienic manner. The water availability was very less in our village and not sufficient for any of the basic needs. But now we are very happy to avail such a facility and also to avail the water in an adequate manner. We are given the awareness to use the water in a safer manner and also about the conservation of water and not to waste and it is a great lesson for us.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
