“We now have fresh clean water source! Our old pond had a horrible look and smell from its water. We wouldn’t use it for cooking or drinking. We have been using it for washing and irrigation. Even animals don’t like drinking it. But with this new source of water, we will have survived and no longer will be having to get water from the next village. We now have clean fresh water in our village. Thank you so much. We can now dink water without worrying about dirt or illness.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
