‘The installation process went well. Villagers were extremely happy to have their own pump in the village. At first they used to draw water in open wells and water borne diseases were everywhere but as of now they give a lot of thanks to drop4drop for the free and safe clean water.

Preschools are there but they lack trained care givers. Many people in the village are poor and they depend on farming different crops e.g. maize and groundnuts.’

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
