“We were warmly welcomed in the village by village headman. It was like a dream to see the installed pump in their village for the first time; no one had a thought that their village at a certain time could have a pump. They are very thankful to the organisation for this gift of a pump. Many of them like development and they wish if many Non-governmental organisation can emulate what Wells for Zoë is doing by helping poor people and with this more communities will stay away from poverty.They are lucky to have pre-schools and primary school near them but they lack a secondary school.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
