‘Our sincere gratitude to the donor John Woolf for helping our community with the clean water bore well. It is very much useful for our entire community. Before this hand pump bore well, we approached many times our Government authorities for helping us providing drinking water bore-well, as we were not received adequate water supply from the Taps. But they did not mind us saying no budget. With the help of drop4drop and John Woolf, now our water scarcity problem is solved. Further the hygiene education taught by the health worker is also helpful to us to keep our health good. Our village Water Team will looking after this well very carefully so that we will receive the water from this bore-well for long years in future”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
