“Thanks to the community of Maple Grove, MN, USA, for relieving our community’s tensions caused due to lack of water. Prior to installation of this well, we lost many of our wages, because we need to go for searching water instead of going for searing of jobs. It is great of the donor of this bore-well to have cared about us, which none cared to give us drinking water though we are in extreme need. We are now receiving clean water from this newly installed well. Now me and my husband are going to earn money. This water source gives mothers like me, a chance to imagine a new tomorrow for my kids. Further, I am very glad to receive awareness from a health worker about soap hand washing. Now my entire family feel fresh and active by using soap time to time. My children also using it with great interest. The Water Team is held with the responsibility of the maintenance of the hand pump bore-well. Once again thanks to the donor.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
