“I live in this village and we are all depended on the single tap and the tank which was in our village. We used to wait for long time to gather the water from these sources. Most of the time it was not sufficient and we used to remain at home without adequate water. Some times when it was an emergency we used to walk long distances to fetch the water. So it was a great burden and along with our other social and economic struggles, the last water source was a great worry and we are relieved from such worries and are able to get the required water from the new water project which has now been installed. This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
