“Sir, as the primary occupation for people in our village is farming, spending few hours daily to fetch water was troublesome. Now our troubles of getting water from a very far place is solved with this newly installed bore-well. My whole hearted gratitude to drop4drop. They are great to heed us whom none prefers to listen to us. Drop4Drop helped our community with clean water. May God do good to all in Drop4Drop. We are very happy now. We will maintain this bore-well very carefully for long period. My children are now going to their school in right time. We are also receiving sanitation education from the health worker which is very useful for us to maintain hygiene in our village.”

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
