“Before installation of this bore-well in our village, our village people were depended on Government water tap, but the tap is not supplied sufficient water to our community. When the tap water not sufficient for us we have to go to open well by walking 2 ½ KM’s away to get water from that open well. This was very hard to us. Now we are happy as our hardship is solved by helping us with a clean water bore-well. We are all happy to use the water for drinking purpose and for domestic purpose. We are very grateful to the donors who helped us with the drinking water bore-well. Our gratitude to them”.

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
