 “We are so delighted to receive a clean water source in our community that has reduced the time spent fetching water from long distances. It has saved us fetching dirty water from the nearby pond. We can now use this time to perform other productive and economic activities that can earn money to educate our children. Now I can wash clothes and prepare meals in a short time .No more quarrels from my husband due to delayed meals. Our health has improved. All thanks to Life Water and West Horsley Dairy for saving us,” says Baagera .

This project was undertaken as part of our campaign of projects that actively reduce carbon emissions. This project helped the community save their much needed wood which was previously being burnt daily to boil water. This project has also eliminated the many thousands of hours previously spent on walking to collect water.
